Savory Scallion Waffle

Ingredients

- 1 cup Almond Flour
- 1 cup White Flour (GF optional)
- 2 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 cup Almond Milk
- 1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- 1/4 cup Miyokos Butter
- 1/4 cup Chopped Scallions or Chives
Instructions

Turn waffle iron on to high heat.

Melt vegan butter in microwave for 30 seconds. Combine all wet ingredients into a small bowl and let sit.

Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

Chop scallions/chives into small pieces. Chop extra if you would like to sprinkle more on top.

Add wet ingredients to mixing bowl with dry ingredients and whisk together until well combined.

Add scallions into batter. Mix in but avoid over-mixing.

Take about 1/2 cup of batter and make your first waffle. 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
