This Vegan Chocolate Pudding is my kind of dessert! I originally created this recipe because I wanted something to snack on that was sweet and chocolatey but also protein-rich. This chocolate dessert is perfectly sweetened, creamy and a bit fluffy like chocolate mousse.

Make sure to check out my tips and substitute options below to get the best results. This recipe uses only 5 simple ingredients that you can easily find at your nearest grocery store:

Tips to get the best Vegan Chocolate Pudding:
Chocolate
Choose your favorite dark chocolate for this recipe. I used a vegan 70% dark chocolate from Trader Joe’s. You can also used dark chocolate chips of your choice. Most dark chocolate does not contain milk but I recommend checking the ingredients just in case!
Sweetener
I love using maple soup but you can also use agave nectar or dates. If using dates make sure they are pitted and I would also recommend soaking them in hot water for a few minutes to soften them before blending.
Tofu
Silken tofu is the only tofu I recommend using for this recipe. Your product might not be as smooth if you use any other type of tofu.

Extras
It’s fun to switch up the flavor with this recipe! Try adding a few tablespoons of peanut butter or a dash of cinnamon. I like topping mine with coconut whip ( I used So Delicious vegan whip) but I also recommend adding chocolate shavings, berries, chopped peanuts/nuts, shredded coconut or granola.
