Description

Guacamole is a creamy Mexican dip made with avocado, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, cilantro, and lime juice. A classic Mexican recipe that can be ready in about 10 minutes and pairs perfectly with tortilla chips. It adds lots of flavor and creaminess to tacos, burritos, and frijoles.


Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, ripe
  • 2 tomatoes, Roma, diced
  • 1/4 large red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeño, diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 large lime, juiced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice all the veggies evenly and add set aside
  2. Slice the avocados, take out the pit, and use a spoon to scoop the avocado onto a mixing bowl or a molcajete.
  3. Add a few squirts of lime juice and mash the avocados to get them as creamy as you’d like.
  4. Add in the diced veggies, more lime juice to taste, salt, and mix everything together. Serve immediately or store in a sealed container and place in the refrigerator overnight.
