Air Fried Peaches

If you’re busy, lazy, or just looking for a healthy dessert, this recipe is for you. I started going to the farmer’s market on a weekly basis this summer and became obsessed with peaches and nectarines like never before. I am not sure if they were just really delicious this season, or maybe the new area I live in has better produce. The point is, that I did a lot of experimenting this summer and I’m excited to share this easy, yet incredible recipe.

It will take about 5-10 minutes of your time and minimal dishes. This is the best dessert to make when you are limited on time but want to impress your guests. Be sure to follow the tips and recommendations below for the best results on your air-fried peaches.

Ingredients:

Peaches: Okay so they technically don’t have to be peaches. I have also tried nectarines and they were just as delicious! However, I highly recommend getting your fruit from the farmer’s market for the best results. Try to pick ripe peaches but semi-ripe ones work too.

Vegan butter: My go-to vegan butter is always Earth Balance. I typically find it at any popular store such as Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Sprouts, and Safeway.

Cinnamon: Ground cinnamon is what you need. Any kind will work for this recipe.

Sugar: I used regular cane sugar but you’re welcome to use brown sugar, sugar in the raw, or sugar substitutes.

Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream: I’m super bummed that Trader Joe’s stopped having their vegan vanilla ice cream but here are some runner-ups: Oatly, Ripple, and So Delicious.

Granola: I love using Bakery on Main for wholesome granola that is certified gluten-free. However, you can make your own granola or add nuts of choice for that crunch.

Air Fried Peaches

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 peaches
  • 12 tbsp vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Vegan vanilla ice cream
  • @bakeryonmain granola

Instructions

1. Slice peaches in half and take out the pit.

2. In a small ramekin or bowl, melt the butter and mix in the cinnamon and sugar. Use a brush to coat the top part of the peaches (where to pit was).

3. Air fry for 10 minutes at 350 F. Let cool off for about 5-10 minutes and top off with your favorite vegan vanilla ice cream and bakery on main granola.
